Silk satin scarf printed with an adaptation of Monet's Japanese Bridge painted in 1899. Monet moved to Giverny in 1883 and built the lily pond from a swamp that was on the property. He was inspired by the Japanese culture's closeness to nature and began to paint this theme over and over again for the next twenty-five years.
